Scope

Main Technical Content: The planting process consists of six stages: site selection, variety and seedling selection, pre-planting preparation, transplanting, field management, and harvesting. 5. Site Selection It is recommended to select loamy or sandy loam soils with sufficient sunlight, loose topsoil, good permeability, moderate or above soil fertility, and convenient irrigation and drainage. The site environment should meet the requirements of HJ 332 and NY/T 5010. 6. Variety and Seedling Selection Seedlings should meet the requirements of T/SXFSXH 1-2020 Section 5.1 and be free from virus infection. 7. Pre-Planting Preparation 7.1 Land Preparation and Ridge Formation Use plowing and harrowing measures to prepare the land, ensuring surface flatness and uniform soil texture. The ridge spacing should be determined based on soil quality, soil layer thickness, topography, and historical drought/flood conditions, with a recommended ridge spacing of 100–125 cm and ridge height of 30–40 cm. 7.2 Base Fertilization When preparing the soil and forming ridges, apply 500–1,000 kg of organic fertilizer and 40–60 kg of sulfate potassium compound fertilizer (15% P, 15% N, and 15% K) per 667 m2. After digging the furrows, mix the fertilizer and apply it to the ridge core. The organic fertilizer should comply with NY/T 525 standards. 8. Transplanting 8.1 Transplanting Period In Suixi County, the main transplanting period is from early August to early November for autumn/winter crops, and from late February to late March for spring crops. 8.2 Density Based on the variety characteristics, a density of 3,000–4,500 seedlings per 667 m2 is recommended. 8.3 Transplanting Method Use horizontal cutting transplanting. 9. Field Management 9.1 Seedling Inspection and Supplementation Within 3–7 days after transplanting, inspect the field for missing, dead, or weak seedlings, as well as pest/disease damage. Immediately replant with large, robust se
