Scope

This part of GB/T 19903 details the process-specific data elements required for electrical discharge forming processing. Together with the general process data described in GB/T 19903.10, this part describes the interface between computer numerical controllers and programming systems (such as CAM systems or shop-level programming systems) used in electrical discharge forming processing. This part can be used for the operation of electrical discharge forming processing machines.
The scope of this part does not include machines for other processes (such as turning, grinding). Machines for other processes are described in other parts of GB/T 19903.
