Scope

This standard specifies the test items, test methods, test conditions, and acceptance criteria used for the quality assessment of electrical penetrations in the containment vessels of nuclear power plants.
This standard applies to the quality assessment of electrical penetrations installed through the containment vessels in pressurized water reactor nuclear power plants designed and constructed in accordance with the French RCC series of specifications, which ensure signal transmission and power transmission between the inside and outside of the reactor building.
This standard can also be used as a reference for the quality assessment of electrical penetrations in the containment vessels of other types of nuclear power plants.
