Scope

This verification system table is applicable to the procedure of transferring temperature values from national standards to working metrological instruments in the range of 13.81 to 273.15 K, and specifies the measurement range, uncertainty (or allowable error), and basic verification methods. It serves as the basis for the transfer of measurement values of various temperature metrological instruments within the range of 13.81 to 273.15 K.
The national standards in this verification system are established in accordance with the International Practical Temperature Scale of 1968 (revised in 1975, hereinafter referred to as IPTS-68), and then the temperature values are transferred to metrological standard instruments and working metrological instruments step by step through comparison verification.
