GB/T 29268.5-2022 Information technology—Biometric performance testing and reporting—Part 5:Access control scenario and grading scheme
Basic Information
Scope
This document: -- Defines a general biometric recognition access control scenario, which is applicable to the evaluation of biometric recognition authentication systems; -- Provides a quantitative expression of the grading mechanism for biometric recognition system requirements and performance levels; -- Provides a general basis for scenario evaluation, applicable to specific testing methods and the performance levels achievable by specific biometric recognition systems. This document is applicable to the performance testing of biometric recognition systems, but does not involve detailed comparison algorithms or the biometric distribution of potential user groups. The minimum error acceptance rate of this document is 0.1%. If it is necessary to further reduce the error acceptance rate, customized testing (not within the scope of this document) may be appropriate, and such testing should fully comply with the provisions of GB/T 29268.2. This document involves the testing of biometric recognition systems for physical access control and the suitability testing of individual logical access devices. Errors caused by users deliberately evading being correctly identified by the biometric recognition system and the measurement of throughput rate are not discussed in this document (e.g., active impostors). In addition, this document does not cover the following aspects: -- Reliability, availability, and maintainability; -- Security and confidentiality, including vulnerabilities; -- Human factors, including user acceptability; -- Environmental factors; -- Personal safety; -- Cost-effectiveness; -- Compliance with privacy regulations. The evaluation of these aspects is the responsibility of relevant departments.
