Scope

This document specifies the general requirements, technical requirements, test methods, inspection rules, marking, packaging, and storage for Y-type cast iron filters used in pipelines (hereinafter referred to as "Y-type filters").
This document applies to Y-type filters with nominal sizes of DN 50 to DN 600, nominal pressures of PN 6 to PN 40, or Class 75 to Class 300, and a medium temperature of no more than 80 °C for water or other liquids with physical and chemical properties similar to those of water.
