Scope
This standard specifies the types, dimensions, and marking examples of straight-shaft and Morse taper-shaft machine tools for boring tools. This standard applies to straight-shaft machine tools with a diameter greater than 1.32 mm to 20 mm and Morse taper-shaft machine tools with a diameter greater than 5.30 mm to 50 mm. This standard is applicable to standard boring tools with a diameter d1 of m6 tolerance.
