Scope

This standard applies to the territorial waters of the People's Republic of China and other maritime areas under its jurisdiction. It covers the monitoring of pollutants in the engine bilge water and living wastewater discharged into the environment by ships after being treated by bilge water separators or living wastewater treatment devices, as well as the inspection of ships' bilge water separators and living wastewater treatment devices.
