Scope
This standard specifies the environmental conditions, rated values, electrical safety, mechanical safety, charging interfaces and connections, grounding devices, operational safety, electromagnetic compatibility, and safety information for charging electrical systems and equipment with a rated voltage of up to 1,000 V AC and 1,500 V DC. This standard applies to charging electrical systems and equipment (hereinafter referred to as systems and equipment). Note: This standard is a basic general guideline for electrical safety. If the relevant requirements are inconsistent with those of the product standard, the requirements of the product standard shall prevail.
