Scope
This standard stipulates the requirements for the control of water pollutant discharge from electroplating enterprises and electroplating professional parks within the jurisdiction of Guangdong Province. This standard applies to the management of water pollutant discharge from existing electroplating enterprises and electroplating professional parks, as well as the environmental impact assessment, design, and completion acceptance of new, modified, and expanded projects, and the management of water pollutant discharge after their completion. This standard also applies to other production enterprises with process facilities such as electroplating, chemical plating, and chemical conversion coatings. The requirements for the control of water pollutant discharge stipulated in this standard apply to the direct or indirect discharge of water pollutants from electroplating enterprises and electroplating professional parks outside their legal boundaries.
