Scope

This standard provides a method for understanding and expanding the BCM principles of supplier relationship management in GB/T 30146 and GB/T 31595.
This standard is universal and applicable to all types, sizes, and business nature of organizations (or parts of organizations), and is suitable for the supply of products and services both within and outside the organization. The degree of application of this standard depends on the operating environment and complexity of the organization.
Supply chain management targets various activities related to the supply of products or services to the organization. This standard focuses on the continuous supply of products and services that organizations face to maintain business activities or processes, as well as the continuity strategies used by suppliers in the supply chain to reduce the impact of disruptions, namely supply chain continuity management (SCCM).
GB/T 30146 and GB/T 31595 provide relevant guidance for formulating business continuity plans and establishing business continuity management systems.
