Scope

This standard specifies the classification and designation methods of hot-rolled wide steel strips and their sheared steel plates for coal slurry transport pipes, as well as the order content, dimensions, shapes, weights, technical requirements, test methods, inspection rules, packaging, marking, and quality certificates. This standard applies to hot-rolled wide steel strips and their sheared steel plates with a thickness of 6 mm to 22 mm for direct-seam submerged arc welded steel pipes and direct-seam resistance welded steel pipes used in coal slurry transport, and also applies to hot-rolled wide steel strips and their sheared steel plates for other slurry transport pipes with similar requirements (hereinafter referred to as steel strips and steel plates).
