Scope

This document specifies the shape, size, and position of the pins and holes in the positioning pin system, which are used to achieve precise image positioning on the printing plate during the printing plate making process. This document is also applicable to flexographic printing equipment and switchable positioning pin systems that need to be converted between different pin-type positioning systems.
This document is applicable to prepress pin-type positioning systems with a printing plate size of 420 mm×594 mm (A2), and it is also applicable to similar pin-type positioning systems on printing presses.
