Scope

This standard specifies the classification, code, marking, basic parameters, and main dimensions of core-type flexible couplings (hereinafter referred to as couplings), as well as technical requirements, inspection rules, marking, packaging, and storage.
This standard is applicable to connecting two coaxial drive shaft systems and has the functions of compensating for the relative offset of the two shafts and providing general vibration reduction. The operating temperature range is -20 °C to +70 °C, and the nominal torque transmitted is 6.3 N·m to 8,000 N·m.
