Scope
This standard specifies the methods for determining the content of Basic Orange, Basic Yellow O, and Basic Peach Red T in food by high-performance liquid chromatography and liquid chromatography-tandem mass spectrometry. This standard is applicable to the determination of the content of Basic Orange, Basic Yellow O, and Basic Peach Red T in preserved fruits, aquatic products, soy products, edible fungi, roasted nuts, and solid seasonings. The detection limit of high-performance liquid chromatography in this standard is: 0.02mg/kg for Basic Orange; 0.03mg/kg for Basic Yellow O; 0.004mg/kg for Basic Peach Red T; and the quantification limit is: 0.06mg/kg for Basic Orange; 0.1mg/kg for Basic Yellow O; 0.02mg/kg for Basic Peach Red T. The detection limit of liquid chromatography-tandem mass spectrometry in this standard is: 0.6μg/kg for Basic Orange; 0.3μg/kg for Basic Yellow O; 0.7μg/kg for Basic Peach Red T; and the quantification limit is: 2μg/kg for Basic Orange; 1μg/kg for Basic Yellow O; 2μg/kg for Basic Peach Red T.
