Scope: This document specifies the technical requirements for seed breeding, cultivation, breeding measures, seed collection, seed preservation, warehouse management, and archiving of the "Hunan Chili" local variety. This document is applicable to the seed breeding and preservation of the "Hunan Chili" local variety. Main technical content: This document stipulates the breeding base, cultivation, breeding measures, seed collection, seed preservation, warehouse management, and archiving for the breeding and preservation of the "Hunan Chili" local variety. Among them, "Breeding Base" specifies the selection of the base, soil conditions, and facilities and equipment; "Cultivation" stipulates the seedling method, seedling time, planting method, planting time, fertilizer and water management, and pest and disease control; "Breeding Measures" stipulates the breeding measures at the flowering start, fruit setting peak, and fruit post-ripening stages; "Seed Collection" stipulates the fruit collection standard, seed extraction method, and seed drying requirements; "Seed Preservation" stipulates the seed moisture content before preservation, preservation environment requirements, and seed quality preservation requirements; "Warehouse Management" stipulates warehouse inspection requirements, quality monitoring, and warehouse disinfection; and "Archiving and Preservation" stipulates production operation archives, seed preservation archives, and archive preservation periods.
