Scope
This standard specifies the method of using potassium permanganate solution absorption to determine the arsenic content in natural gas. This standard is applicable to the determination of arsenic content in natural gas samples with an arsenic content of ≥0.05 mg/m3. This standard is applicable to the determination of arsenic content in natural gas with a hydrogen sulfide content of less than 20 mg/m3.
