This standard describes the services of the software engineering environment (hereinafter referred to as SEE), which support all software and system lifecycle processes defined in ISO/IEC 12207:2008.
These services refer to a complete set that can be used by any system and software engineering development or support organizations that need to select one or more SEE services. These organizations may or may not have system and software projects that use the ISO/IEC 12207:2008 process framework.
