Scope

This standard stipulates the basic requirements for the prevention and control of occupational hazards in the ferrous metal mining and processing industry (referred to as mining enterprises in this standard), as well as the technical requirements for occupational protection facilities, personal protective equipment, and emergency rescue facilities. This standard applies to the prevention and control of occupational hazards in ferrous metal mining and processing. This standard does not apply to the prevention and control of occupational hazards in public auxiliary systems such as heating boilers, waste heat power generation, wastewater treatment, and inspection and maintenance of mining enterprises.
