Scope

This standard specifies the requirements, test methods, inspection rules, and marking, packaging, transportation, and storage for aluminum foil used for beer labels (hereinafter referred to as aluminum foil).
This standard applies to aluminum foil used for top labels and neck labels on beer bottles, and also applies to aluminum foil used for top labels and neck labels on other bottled products.
