Scope
This standard specifies the terms and definitions, test equipment, specimens, test conditions, test procedures, calculations, and test reports for the compression performance of carbon/carbon composites at room temperature. This standard is applicable to the determination of the compression strength, compression elastic modulus, and compression stress-strain curves of three-dimensional perforated carbon/carbon composites and quasi-three-dimensional needle-punched carbon/carbon composites at room temperature. Carbon/carbon composites with similar structures can also be implemented in accordance with this standard.
