Scope

This standard specifies the design, safety, and minimum functional requirements of dry quick connectors for liquefied natural gas (LNG), as well as their marking, interface types and sizes, test procedures, etc. This standard applies to dry quick connectors installed in LNG refueling systems on LNG refueling vessels, tank trucks, shore-based facilities, and other refueling facilities, but does not apply to hydraulic quick connectors (QCDC) used on rigid loading arms as specified in ISO 16904. This standard applies to dry quick connectors with nominal sizes ranging from DN25 to DN200.
