Scope

This standard specifies the requirements, test methods, inspection rules, and packaging, marking, transportation, storage, and contract (or order form) content for No. 25 black reagent.
This standard applies to the black-brown oily liquid synthesized from trimethylphenol (with a content of meta-cresol not less than 34%) and diphosphorus pentasulfide as raw materials. The product has a hydrogen sulfide odor and is corrosive. It can be used as a flotation reagent and foaming agent for sulfide ores such as copper sulfide, lead-zinc ores, nickel ores, and copper-zinc polymetallic ores.
