Scope

This standard specifies the gas chromatography-mass spectrometry determination methods for the residues of 485 pesticides and related chemicals in puffer fish, eels, and shrimp (see Appendices A and F).
This standard is applicable to the qualitative identification of residues of 485 pesticides and related chemicals in puffer fish, eels, and shrimp, and also to the quantitative determination of 402 of these pesticides and related chemicals.
The method detection limits for the quantitative determination of 402 pesticides and related chemicals in this standard are 0.0025 mg/kg to 0.6000 mg/kg (see Appendix A).
