T/ZJNJ 0031-2024 Pickling technical specifications for mechanically harvested tea plantations
Basic Information
Scope
Scope: This document specifies the requirements for mechanically harvested tea gardens, canopy requirements, and requirements for shaping and pruning, production management, mechanical harvesting, and mechanical maintenance. This document is applicable to large-scale tea mechanical harvesting. Main technical content: The appropriate time for mechanical harvesting should be determined based on a comprehensive consideration of various factors such as tea varieties, tea types, harvest seasons, and harvest batches. Generally, when the number of buds with two or three leaves and the corresponding leaves reach 50% to 80%, it is the appropriate time for mechanical harvesting. The number of mechanical harvesting batches should also be flexibly controlled based on the variety, tea type, grade, and new shoot growth of the tea plants. In large-leaf tea-producing areas, there are generally 6 to 7 harvests per year, while in medium- and small-leaf tea-producing areas, there are generally 4 to 6 harvests per year.
