Scope

This standard specifies the technical methods, operating procedures, and judgment criteria for the clinical diagnosis of animal tuberculosis, bacteriological examination, intradermal allergy testing, PCR, and in vitro detection of γ-interferon (IFN-γ).
This standard applies to the diagnosis of animal tuberculosis, where the epidemiological characteristics, clinical symptoms, pathological changes, and intradermal allergy testing are applicable to the clinical diagnosis of animal tuberculosis; in bacteriological examination, staining and microscopy are suitable for the preliminary diagnosis of the pathogen of animal tuberculosis, while isolation and cultivation, biochemical identification, pathogen isolation, and PCR tests are applicable to the definitive diagnosis of the pathogen of animal tuberculosis; and the in vitro detection method of γ-interferon (IFN-γ) is suitable for the auxiliary diagnosis of bovine tuberculosis.
