Scope

This standard specifies the conditions, procedures, and relevant rules for the implementation of a planned maintenance system for ship machinery on ships and offshore facilities.
This standard applies to ships and offshore facilities that implement the Ship Maintenance and Repair System (CWBT) and have the additional mark of the China Classification Society (CCS) for ship machinery maintenance systems (PMS), or to those that intend to apply for such an additional mark. Other ships and vessels may refer to and adopt it as a guideline.
