Scope: This standard specifies the terms and definitions, tea tree variety selection, fertilization, timely closure of tea gardens, precise irrigation of winter water, biomass mulching, and intercropping in mature tea gardens for efficient and simple winter protection in the administrative area of Rizhao City. This standard applies to mature tea gardens in Rizhao City for efficient and simple winter protection. Main technical contents: 3.1 Biomass: All organic substances except petroleum fuels directly or indirectly formed by the photosynthesis of green plants, including all plants, animals, and microorganisms, as well as organic substances produced by the excretion or metabolism of these organisms. 3.2 Asexual tea tree varieties: Varieties propagated by asexual reproduction using the roots, stems, and leaves of a single tea tree as materials. 3.3 Tea tree intercropping: Planting one row of tall trees every 3-4 rows of tea trees in the tea garden to increase shading, with a shading rate controlled at 20%-30% to improve and regulate the microclimate of the tea garden. 4. Tea tree variety selection: Select asexual tea tree varieties with strong cold resistance that have been audited (recognized or appraised) at the national or provincial level.
