Scope: This document specifies the key technologies for the selection, establishment, cultivation methods, pruning and shaping, flower and fruit management, soil and water fertilization management, pest and disease control, harvesting, and transportation of Red Yang kiwifruit orchards in the southeastern region of Yunnan Province, China, at altitudes of 1200 m to 1400 m in Red River and Wenshan Prefectures. This document is applicable to the cultivation of Red Yang kiwifruit in areas of Red River and Wenshan Prefectures in southeastern Yunnan Province at altitudes of 1200 m to 1400 m. Main technical content: 1. Terms and definitions: There are no terms or definitions requiring definition in this document. 2. Environmental requirements: 2.1 Temperature: The average annual temperature is 15℃ to 18℃, with a cumulative temperature above 10℃ of 4500℃ to 5200℃, a frost-free period of ≥300 days, and no freezing in winter. 2.2 Water: The relative humidity should be above 40%, with irrigation water sources and irrigation and drainage facilities available. 2.3 Light: The annual sunshine duration should be 1500 to 2200 hours. 2.4 Soil: The soil should be deep, rich in organic matter, loose, and with a pH of 5.5 to 7.5. 3. Site selection and establishment: 3.1 Suitable planting areas and site selection: Select areas with southeast slopes, sheltered from the wind and facing the sun, with a slope of less than 20° and convenient for irrigation and drainage. Areas with slopes greater than 20° need to be converted into terraced fields.
