Scope
This standard specifies the method of determining the length and length distribution parameters of cashmere fibers by photoelectric method.
This standard is applicable to combed cashmere.
This standard is not applicable to cashmere strips, loose cashmere fibers removed from yarns, or mixtures of cashmere with other fibers.
Other animal fibers with average lengths similar to cashmere can also refer to and use this method.
