Scope

This document specifies the determination method, test device, instrumentation and methods for the combustion slag index of coal, as well as data processing and calculation methods. This document is applicable to the determination of the combustion slag index of power coal products used in power station boilers and industrial boilers, and the applicable coal types are lignite, bituminous coal, and anthracite (excluding coal with a total content of Na2O and K2O in ash greater than 3%). This document uses Method A as the arbitration method. Note: This document also provides Method C for determining the combustion slag index of coal - the ash clustering slag discrimination index F method, refer to Appendix A.
