Scope

Scope: The standard specifies the selection of willow varieties, site conditions, cultivation requirements, and harvesting and regeneration methods. Main technical content: 5. Cultivation requirements should generally comply with the requirements of GB/T 15776. 5.1 Before planting, the willow cutting site should be deep-tilled and exposed to sunlight and frost in the autumn and winter of the previous year. Then, it should be deep-tilled again to about 25 cm in early spring of the following year. At the same time, 150 kg of organic fertilizer should be applied per 667 m2. After tilling, the grass roots should be removed and the soil leveled. 5.2 The selected cuttings should be one-year old, with full buds, free from diseases and pests, and have a diameter of about 1 cm. They should be cut into 15-20 cm segments for planting. 5.3 The best planting period for cuttings is from late December to early February. The cutting depth should be level with the ground or slightly exposed by 1-2 cm. Immediately after planting, the soil should be compacted. 5.4 Density: The planting spacing should be 6-8 cm per stem and 20 cm per row, with 60-80 cuttings per square meter. 5.5 Management: 5.5.1 Fertilization: For seedlings planted in the same year, in addition to sufficient base fertilization (organic fertilizer), and based on the growth characteristics of willow, the first growth peak should be fertilized with 4.5 kg of urea per 667 m2 in late April, and the second growth peak should be fertilized with 3 kg of urea per 667 m2 in mid-to-late July. The urea used should comply with GB 2440 standards. If the soil is deficient in phosphorus and potassium, appropriate phosphorus and potassium fertilizers should be applied. 5.5.2 Water management: During the cutting period to the rooting period, the soil should be kept moist. During the growth period, attention should be paid to drought resistance and flood prevention. 5.5.3 Weeding: Weeding should be carried out as ear
