Scope

Scope: This standard specifies the terms and definitions, production environment, cultivation management, processing technology requirements, quality requirements, inspection rules, packaging and labeling, and storage and transportation requirements for Jidong rice. This standard applies to the production and management of "Jidong Rice", a geographical indication trademark product; Main technical content: 3. Terms and definitions: GB/T 1354 and GB/T 17891 define the following terms and definitions, which apply to this standard: 3.1 Jidong Rice refers to rice produced in the production area specified in the 2020 No. 1710 Trademark Bulletin of the China Intellectual Property Administration, using paddy as raw material, through wind selection, cleaning, impurity removal, husking, paddy-bran separation, milling, selection, inspection, and packaging, and meeting the quality requirements of this standard. 4. Production environment: 4.1 Climate characteristics: The area belongs to the temperate continental monsoon climate. The frost-free period lasts 115 to 135 days per year; the average annual temperature is 2.8 to 3.8°C; the total sunshine hours are 2,748 hours, with a sunshine rate of 57%; and the annual precipitation is 520 to 550 mm. 4.2 Geographical environment: The terrain and geomorphology are complex and diverse, with "seven mountains, half water, and two and a half fields". The soil is mainly composed of dark brown soil, meadow soil, and white paste soil, with rich organic matter, available phosphorus, and available potassium. There are four main rivers in the Ussuri River system, including Muling River, with an average annual runoff volume of 200 million cubic meters. 5. Cultivation management: See Appendix A. 6.
