Scope

This standard specifies the colloidal gold immunoassay method for the detection of eight β-stimulants, including clenbuterol, salbutamol, sibutramine, mabutramine, brombuterol, tertbutylazine, and clenbuterol hydrochloride, in animal urine. This standard is applicable to the detection of clenbuterol and other eight β-stimulants in animal urine. The detection limits of this standard are as follows: clenbuterol, salbutamol, sibutramine, mabutramine, brombuterol, tertbutylazine, and clenbuterol hydrochloride are all 3 μg/L; and clenbuterol hydrochloride is 8 μg/L.
