Scope

This part of YC/T 234 specifies the types and sizes of punching holes in thin flat panels. This part is applicable to the design and manufacture of punching holes in thin flat panels. The punching hole profiles listed in this part can be made from steel and brass plates with a material thickness of no more than 4 mm, as well as aluminum alloys with certain tensile strength and pure aluminum plates. The calculation of punching force is referred to Equation (1) in YC/T 234.2—2007.
