Scope

This standard specifies the technical requirements, test methods, inspection rules, packaging, marking, transportation, and storage requirements for sugar sludge fertilizer. This standard applies to fertilizers made from waste products (such as waste mash, filter sludge, sugar core, and ash residue) rich in organic matter generated by sugar-alcohol co-production enterprises, which are processed through fermentation, composting, and other procedures. This standard does not apply to organic fertilizers made from livestock and poultry manure, urban waste, and animal and plant residues, as well as other green fertilizers and farmyard manures self-collected and self-made by farmers.
