Scope
This standard specifies the imaging system, testing environment, image processing methods, image quality, imaging technology, testing methods, defect level assessment, and testing reports and image storage for industrial computer radiographic testing. This standard applies to computer radiographic testing of industrial products made from steel and non-ferrous metal materials with a base material thickness of 2 to 50 mm, as well as non-metallic products with a thickness of less than 200 mm. It can also be used for non-destructive identification of the internal structure of certain items. The radiation detection technology specified in this standard is divided into three levels: Class A low-sensitivity technology, Class AB medium-sensitivity technology, and Class B high-sensitivity technology. This standard specifies that the computer radiographic testing system rating is I/Y level IP, and the minimum signal-to-noise ratio is 65.
