Scope

This standard specifies the grades, technical requirements, test methods, inspection rules, packaging, marking, storage, transportation, and quality certificates of silica micropowder products. This standard applies to silica fume and industrial silicon, etc. produced by collecting silicon-containing gases oxidized and condensed by the smoke hood of an electric furnace, and then collecting silica micropowder by a dry dust collection device. In this standard, this product is referred to as "electric furnace-recovered silica micropowder", abbreviated as "silica micropowder" (commonly known as "silica ash").
