Scope

This standard specifies the requirements for large-sized titanium alloy rods, test methods, inspection rules, and packaging, marking, transportation, storage, and the content of purchase orders (or contracts). This standard applies to large-sized circular titanium alloy rods (hereinafter referred to as "rods") produced by hot forging and hot rolling methods.
