GB/T 35083.1-2018 Plain bearings—Testing of the tribological behaviour of bearing materials—Part 1:Testing of bearing metals
Basic Information
Scope
This part of GB/T 35083 specifies the tribological testing of metal bearing materials for sliding bearings under boundary lubrication conditions.
The test procedures described in this part aim to compare the friction and wear characteristics of various bearing materials/counterparts/lubricant combinations, so as to facilitate the selection of bearing materials for bearings that operate repeatedly or for long periods under boundary lubrication and low-speed continuous operation conditions. Due to the differences in test conditions, the friction and wear values may vary depending on the test equipment used.
Only when all influencing parameters are the same can the test results be practical for actual applications. The more the test conditions deviate from the actual application situation, the higher the uncertainty of the applicability of the test results will be.
