Scope
This guideline specifies the terms and definitions, general principles, methods of water intake from riverbed seepage and related structures, methods of water intake from surface water and related structures, and anti-sand measures for water intake structures in the Xishan water intake project. This guideline is applicable to the water intake projects along the Yellow River in Shanxi Province. Other similar rivers (sections) with high sediment content may refer to and implement it as appropriate.
