Scope

This standard specifies the terms and definitions, product classification, technical requirements, test methods, inspection rules and marking, packaging, transportation, and storage requirements for flame-retardant polyester chips (PET).
This standard applies to the factory inspection, user acceptance, and arbitration inspection of flame-retardant polyester chips (PET) produced by copolymerization using terephthalic acid, ethylene glycol, and flame retardants as raw materials, which are available in glossy, semi-matte, and fully matte forms. Other types of flame-retardant polyester chips (PET) can be used as reference for application.
