Scope

This document describes the gas chromatography method for determining the plant growth regulators ethylene amine and paclobutrazol in fertilizers.
This document is applicable to the detection of ethylene amine and paclobutrazol in fertilizers.
When using the method described in this document to determine the content of ethylene amine and paclobutrazol in water-soluble fertilizer products, the detection limit for ethylene amine and paclobutrazol is 10 mg/kg, and the quantitative limit is 30 mg/kg; when determining the content of ethylene amine and paclobutrazol in directly applied fertilizer products such as organic fertilizers, the detection limit for ethylene amine and paclobutrazol is 2.5 mg/kg, and the quantitative limit is 7.5 mg/kg.
