Scope

This document specifies the overall architecture, system functions, system interfaces, and technical requirements for interoperability of the PIS system on interconnected lines of urban rail transit in Shandong Province, as well as the technical requirements for ground-based PIS systems and on-board PIS systems.
This document is applicable to the construction of interconnected lines of urban rail transit projects in Shandong Province involving the new construction, renovation, and expansion of the PIS system. It is used to guide the engineering design, construction, network planning, equipment bidding, system design, and product design of the PIS system.
