Scope

This document specifies the basic series of structural lengths for metal valves with Class J flange connections. The structural lengths of each series comply with the requirements of ISO 70051, ISO 70052, and ISO 70053, or other JIS standards. The pressure rating range, denoted by "K", is 5, 10, 16, 20, 30, and 40, as well as other specifications in ISO 5752. The nominal size range, denoted by "DN" or "A", is 15, 20, 25, 32, 40, 50, 65, 80, 100, 125, 150, 200, 250, 300, 350, 400, 450, 500, 550, 600, 650, 700, 750, 800, 900, and 1,000. Note: According to relevant information, the rated pressure of Class K flanges at normal temperatures (not exceeding 120 °C) is approximately as follows: Pressure rating 5 K10 K16 K20 K30 K40 K Rated pressure (at normal temperature) 0.7 MPa1.4 MPa2.2 MPa3.4 MPa5.1 MPa6.8 MPa The pressure rating varies depending on the valve material, size, and type, and can be referenced in the relevant product standards.
