Scope

This standard specifies the size designations, types, main dimensions of jacquard shuttles, and the specifications of the jacquard pattern plates used with them.
This standard applies to jacquard shuttles with square, regular pentagonal, regular hexagonal, and regular octagonal cross-sections, as well as the jacquard pattern plates used with them; the punching template sizes of the punching equipment for jacquard pattern plates can also be used as a reference.
This standard does not apply to jacquard shuttles that use continuous jacquard pattern plates.
