Scope

This part of GB/T 30839 specifies the general requirements for energy consumption grading of various electric bath furnaces, including energy consumption parameters, energy consumption ranges, energy consumption parameter grade division and indicators, as well as test methods. This part is applicable to electric bath furnaces used by industrial enterprises for heat treatment of metal parts in salt baths, alkali baths or oil baths, and also applicable to similar electric bath furnaces, such as metal bath furnaces. This part is intended for electric bath furnace manufacturers, users of electric bath furnaces in industrial production, and relevant testing and arbitration institutions to assess and evaluate the energy consumption level of electric bath furnace products and the actual energy consumption situation during use, so as to promote the improvement of the manufacturing process of electric bath furnaces and achieve the goal of energy saving and consumption reduction.
