Scope

This part of GB/T 35176 specifies the best practical recommendations and requirements for the handling, transportation, and storage of the ship nitrogen oxide reduction agent specified in GB/T 35176.1—a urea aqueous solution with a concentration of 40% (hereinafter referred to as AUS 40). These recommendations and requirements are necessary to ensure that all links in the supply chain of AUS 40 meet quality requirements, thereby ensuring the normal function of the selective catalytic reduction (SCR) converter system. This part is applicable to selective catalytic reduction (SCR) systems used for exhaust gas treatment in ship engines and boilers.
