Scope

This guidance technical document specifies the requirements, test methods, inspection rules, marking, packaging, transportation, and storage for halogen-free flame-retardant high-strength glass cloth laminates. This guidance technical document applies to halogen-free flame-retardant high-strength glass cloth laminates made from alkali-free glass cloth treated with a coupling agent, impregnated with a halogen-free flame-retardant resin with a temperature index of 155, and thermally pressed. Halogen-free flame-retardant high-strength glass cloth laminates have a high retention rate of thermal mechanical strength and are suitable for use in electrical motors and equipment with a temperature index of 155, as insulating structural components, and can be used in humid environments and transformer oil.
