Scope

This standard specifies the terms and definitions, models, types, and basic parameters, requirements, test methods, inspection rules, and markings, packaging, transportation, and storage requirements of shrink packaging machines (hereinafter referred to as "packaging machines"). This standard applies to all types of shrink packaging machines that use heat-shrinkable films for shrink packaging, except for those using flame heating. It is used in industries such as pharmaceuticals, food, daily chemicals, fine chemicals, building materials, cultural products, hardware and electrical appliances, and tobacco.
